Send us a patient without making a phone call first.

What a coordinator needs to know before they book: who we are contracted with, what we can carry, how far we go, and how to set up a standing schedule that does not need rebooking every week.

How trips reach us

Nebraska Medicaid, through SafeRide

We are a contracted non-emergency medical transportation provider. Trips authorised through the state broker come to us directly — no separate arrangement needed at your end.

Private pay and self-pay

For patients who are not eligible, or where a family would rather not wait on an authorisation. Quoted per route before anything is booked.

Facility account

If your site books regularly, we can invoice you rather than the patient. Call and we will set it up.

What we need to accept a trip

Patient name and a contact number. Pickup address, destination, and the appointment time. Whether a wheelchair is needed, and what kind of chair — including power chairs and bariatric chairs, which determine the vehicle. Whether a return leg is required, and whether the driver should wait.

For a discharge, the ward or unit and a realistic ready time are enough to hold a vehicle. We would rather be told "sometime after two" and adjust than be given a time nobody can keep.

What we can carry

Wheelchair, no transfer

Ramp-equipped vans with four-point securement. The patient stays in their own chair from door to door.

Ambulatory with assistance

Door-to-door, with the driver walking the patient in at both ends rather than leaving them at a kerb.

Paediatric

Age-appropriate restraint and drivers cleared to carry minors. A guardian rides at no extra charge.

Long distance and out of state

Across Nebraska and into Iowa as routine; Kansas City and Minnesota when a patient needs it.

Standing schedules

Dialysis three times a week, weekly infusion, a recurring therapy block — tell us the pattern once and we build the whole series. Your team does not rebook it, and the patient usually sees the same driver each time, which matters more than it sounds like it should.

Every leg is logged in our own dispatch system and reconciled against the broker record the same week. If a trip did not happen, you will hear it from us rather than find it on a statement a month later.
